Unlike the dangerous process of fixing a traditional felt roof with hot bitumen and a gas burner, no heat is needed to apply a GRP fibreglass roof, making it a much safer procedure. For new roofs, we start by installing OSB decking to ensure an even surface to apply our coating to. After attaching the edge trims, we cut our fibreglass matting into the precise shape of your roof.
We then apply a cold resin, making sure to remove any air bubbles for a smooth finish. The final step is the topcoat, where we offer the option of an anti-slip texture. Easily moulded around vents and skylights, GRP fibreglass is perfect for a more complex roof shape.
